This rug is inspired by the passage of life and the journey that we traverse through it. The rug's intricate, linear design encourages introspection, reminding us to reflect on our lives and what we've learned along the way. Sandstone Passage of Life is a gentle reminder to appreciate the journey, to take the time to think about where we've been and where we are headed.
SAURAV ROY
A graduate of National Institute of Design, Saurav Roy has gained over two enriching decades a mastery in branding & design programs.
With an extensive experience in working with retail centres, real estate and start-ups, it was only a matter of time before he set up Roy Studio to focus on specialized design programs, including branding, strategy & placemaking. (www.roy.studio)
He is also the co-founder of SWITCH! - a motion design and animation lab along with his partner, Upasana. (www.theswitchstudio.com)
His partner and his deep interest lies in looking at the social and cultural impact of design programs. Currently, he is also exploring how AI systems can augment design workflows within an ethical framework.
